I am a MSc CIV E student at the University of Alberta with hands-on experience in machine learning, demonstrated through impactful internships at AVOLTA, Inc and iNautical Software LLC. In these roles, I developed and implemented machine learning algorithms for vehicle security, fine-tuned models, and deployed solutions on AWS. Additionally, my proficiency in web development was showcased during my tenure as a Digital Content QA at the University of Alberta, where I addressed design issues, fixed errors, and enhanced user experience on a large-scale website. I have a proven track record of collaborative project work, evident in my contributions to SubManager, a hackathon project, and Space Exploration Alberta Robotics.

  ● Collaborated with R&D team to understand the requirements and objectives of the machine learning projects. ● Assisted in the collection, preprocessing, and analysis of relevant data to train and validate machine learning models. ● Developed and implemented machine learning algorithms for vehicle security and anti-theft applications. ● Fined-tuned existing ML models and explored new approaches to improve accuracy and performance.

  ● Tasked with building a recommendation system machine learning model using PyTorch. ● Researched and implemented various ML models and aided in decision making of picking one. ● Leveraged knowledge of Transformers and NLP techniques to train and optimize the ML model. ● Deployed ML models via AWS and helped present technical details during demos to project shareholders. ● Integrated ML model capabilities into existing data pipeline by building API’s using Python with Flask.

  ● Tasked with maintenance of the ualberta.ca domain which consists of around 90,000 web pages. ● Responsible for dealing with issues concerning responsive page design, layout issues, broken links, and SEO. ● Leveraged prior experience with HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap to remedy design issues and used my attention for details to fix other errors that were found in pages. ● Resulted in fixing 400+ pages with broken content resulting in a better user experience.
