I am a TV writer, writer of comic books, and narrative writer in video games. Man, I love words. I am obsessed with getting it right, in whatever I'm writing, probably because as a Chinese atheist teen in the middle of the Bible belt, I was always getting it wrong. From food writing to music journalism, I have bylines at McSweeney's and Venus Zine. After touring as a stand-up comic in the Midwest, I moved to Los Angeles where I worked on QUEEN SUGAR, HARLEM, and ALL RISE. I staffed on MAGGIE, an 20th/Hulu romantic comedy where I wrote and produced my episode. In addition to my television work, I was a Second Rounder at Austin Film Festival, a semi-finalist in the first year of Imagine Impact as well as the Film Independent Episodic Lab, and in 2021 I was chosen as the Disney/ABC General Entertainment Writing Fellow. When I'm not writing TV, I'm cowriter of Blade Runner: Origins. I have a feature, THE SEAGULL, in pre-production and I am also showrunner of Animated Shorts for Amihan Studios.

Managing five-months delivery of project with Japanese studio on music composition, character draw-overs, and animatics - Prompt engineering for A.I. characters, using OpenAI LLM.   Co Writer of Blade Runner: Cascade (12 issues). Work from concept to writing dialogue and action on the page. This season of Blade Runner comic stories are inventive, giving new depth to characters already known and loved such as Aahna Ashina's backstory before she joins the Blade Runner. Deep dive into the world of corporate espionage, technological cold war, and the many ramifications of Replicant life in these issues.

  Writer on Maggie, a 20th Production streaming on Hulu. Pitched story ideas throughout the thirteen episode season and wrote episode four, including dialogue, story, action, and production specific needs. Assisted in joke rewrites on set, helping actors with scene work if needed, and supporting the director with clear communication to the Showrunner.

  Full time Disney writing fellow. The Disney Writing fellowship is a comprehensive program that encompasses writing TV pilots, mock writers' rooms, and meeting with top level executives from Hulu, FX, 20th, ABC Network, ABC Signature, Freeform, Disney+, and National Geographic. The storytelling methodology learned during this program is invaluable and allowed access to creativity in hundreds of different ways.
