I'm a recent graduate in Applied Mathematics from NC State with a passion for building data-driven solutions that make a difference, especially in healthcare, research, and real-world decision-making. From fine-tuning large language models to detect unethical financial activity, to predicting wave heights with LSTMs and real-time NOAA data, I enjoy working on projects that move from messy raw data to meaningful, deployable tools. My experience spans machine learning, data engineering, and research, using tools like Python, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, AWS, and PostgreSQL.

  Fine-tuned transformer-based LLMs (LED, LLaMA 3) with PyTorch to generate abstractive summaries of 8-K filings for BankTrack’s database on unethical financial activity.

  Applied non-stationary signal processing and machine learning techniques from (Geddes 2020 UPEMD) to examine a large population of POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) patients, applying previously developed methods on a larger population to have a better case for implementation of these methods in clinical practice and to motivate further POTS research. Also rewriting and improving MATLAB code into Python in order to make code more accessible.
