Experience
- Software Engineering Intern · Google05-09-2022 – 08-19-2022
- Designed and implemented a tool to trace processes and messages sent between two devices to make diagnosing issues when developing within a dual-device system easier. - Implemented several aspects of the Perfetto stack to trace device processes, merge traces, and display device events in a single user interface. - Utilized Mockito to implement JUnit tests to thoroughly test the tool's implementation.
- STEP Intern · Google05-18-2021 – 08-13-2021
During my time as an intern at Google, I developed a Java Protocol Buffer to store application data. I then weighed the pros and cons of the utilization of android components and implemented an android service to perform on-device scraping. I utilized Robolectric and Mockito to implement JUnit tests to test my feature. This tool was used to optimize the search results in the on-device search feature.
- STEP Intern · Google05-18-2020 – 08-10-2020
During my time as an intern at Google, I created a personal portfolio site using Javascript, HTML, CSS, Java, and Google Cloud Datastore. Then, I created a Mock Interview platform with two other interns. I was responsible for implementing the backend and frontend of the scheduled interview and feedback features of the platform. I used java servlets to interact with Google Cloud Datastore and render data on JSP pages.
- Technical Aide · Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory09-25-2018 – 08-08-2019
During my time as an intern at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, I developed a Java Swing GUI and conducted application tests using Jubula. I was also tasked with developing a Python script that queries a devices temperature and battery status along with improving a web-based user interface by creating custom JavaScript Functions utilizing AngularJS. On a separate project, my contributions to the development of a secure network secured me an award for Technical Excellence from my Sector Branch Supervisors for technical contributions and a coin award from my collaborators on the project.
