I'm a driven mechanical engineer at Northeastern University with a passion for prototyping through the means of 3D CAD modeling work and 3D-printing. In my spare time I design and 3D-print parts to fix problems for homes and businesses.

Experience

• Executive Director · Origin: Northeastern's Science and Tech Incubator

  I lead a student-led organization which provides project consulting services, non-equity grant funding of up to $5000, and a strong community to technical-minded innovators who want to progress a project or venture. I also actively pursue opportunities for growth by leveraging connections with other student-led programs, faculty, and administration, and provide feedback and support to a team of 15 students.

• Custom Product Design Engineer · Instron

  I completed a client project from order entry through design and release to manufacturing by generating design concepts, leading several design reviews, coordinating team member efforts, creating CAD models and drawings, performing FEA, completing safety assessments, creating a BOM, and releasing drawings to purchasing. I modeled 15+ testing fixtures using SolidWorks CAD and created 2D manufacturing and installation drawings.

• Print Process Mechanical Engineer · Desktop Metal

  I use data and iterative physical prototyping to make educated decisions and improve the printing process of our metal 3D-printers. I frequently use SolidWorks CAD, 3D-printing, Python, and Excel in my daily work. [Started in Jan 2021]
