Collaborating with the brightest minds in the tech industry, I continuously find inspiration in the innovative solutions we create. My most recent assignment immersed me in the dynamic world of NewsCorp Australia's SPP team, where I assumed the role of Senior Front-End Engineer. Within this exceptional team, we embarked on an ambitious journey to modernize and revolutionize the NewsCorp editorial experience. It has been an exhilarating endeavor that perfectly blends my passion for technology and my dedication to enhancing user experiences.   During my tenure at XWP, I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects for major multinational companies. My experience spans the entire software development spectrum, including front-end, mobile and full-stack development. Notably, I played a key role in contributing to the development of the open source stories for web by Google, developing a sophisticated web3 e-commerce platform for BarterCard and helping iOne Digital maintain their social media mobile application. My ability to thrive both independently and within collaborative teams was instrumental in successfully delivering these projects. These experiences have honed my expertise across the software development spectrum and reinforced my commitment to delivering exceptional results in every project I undertake.

• Senior Software Engineer · Spanish for Kids2020-04-01 – 2021-05-01

  As the sole engineer for Spanish for kids, I played a critical role in establishing the company's content management strategy, migrating their application from a legacy technology to a modern infrastructure and technology stack using a serverless architecture and a headless cms. I architected an infrastructure strategy encompassing GCP, Firebase CloudStore, Cloud Functions, JWPlayer, GraphCMS(Hydra) e.t.c to improve scalability, flexibility and performance of the application. This new infrastructure strategy enabled Spanish for kids to grow and scale their business, and provided a solid foundation for future development.

• Lead Frontend Engineer · Cookly2018-03-01 – 2020-04-01

  As a lead engineer at Cookly, I led a small team of front-end engineers on the redesign and migration of Cookly's legacy codebase used by over 1 million users. My technical leadership skills were key in making strategic decisions on the ideal infrastructure, frameworks and technology stack based on project requirements, team skill-set, timeline, future development and third party integrations. I was able to deliver a new stripe checkout experience which improved the performance on the client and reduced abandoned checkout rates by over 30%. Furthermore, I improved an internal dashboard tool dev-x that resulted in a faster and improved development workflow by adding pipelines to lint and test PR’s before merging and more frequent and automated deployments.

• Web Developer, Borderlands Knowledge Hub Project · Danish Refugee Council / Dansk Flygtningehjælp2016-11-01 – 2017-01-01

  As an engineer contracted by the Danish Refugee Council, I was responsible for building the DRC Borderlands Knowledge Hub, an interactive web application and library that showcases key insights and trends in border conflict and management in the borderlands of East Africa. My technical skills in web development, database management, and data visualization were instrumental in creating an intuitive user interface and making the information easily accessible and understandable to users through the use of interactive maps and data visualization techniques. The application has been widely used by researchers, policy makers, and humanitarian organizations, and has been a valuable tool for understanding and addressing challenges in border management.
