Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marine Sciences at The University of Auckland, I am passionate about marine ecosystems and environmental conservation. I graduated from Gisborne Girls High School with an NCEA Level 3 Excellence Endorsement in 2022. My professional experience includes working with the Association of Building Compliance as part of their Media Team, where I edit and manage video content for conferences and update social media platforms. As a Beach Education Instructor with Surf Life Saving New Zealand, I educate students on ocean safety and sun protection. Additionally, I serve as a Check, Clean, Dry Didymo Advocate for the Gisborne District Council, promoting environmental awareness and maintaining informational signage along the East Coast. My roles reflect a commitment to environmental education and media communication, aligning with my academic pursuits in marine sciences.

  Maintained and updated signage around the East Coast region, from Hicks Bay - Wairoa. Handed out Check, Clean, Dry packs to local businesses. I gave local water sports clubs check, clean, dry packs and showed them how to wash their gear.
