Fractional Customer Success Lead | Onboarding, Retention & Product Adoption for SaaS Companies
6 yrs experience · London, UK · 30-40 hrs/week
About
I'm a fractional Customer Success consultant with six years of experience in the SaaS and software industry. Over six years I scaled a software advisory program from its infancy to $1.3M in annual revenue. Starting at $47,000 in year one, I grew it consistently year on year through the initiatives I built and ran, reaching $1.3M by the time I moved on to found Stack Champ. The program's reputation and results attracted the attention of a North American partner who acquired the business, integrating our UK operation into their wider portfolio. Following acquisition, expanded resources, technology, and a broader vendor network accelerated growth further, allowing us to scale in ways that simply weren't possible as an early stage operation. Throughout this journey I was responsible for the full vendor relationship lifecycle, managing up to 60 software vendors per month. This meant overseeing account health, budgets, and campaign performance while identifying upsell opportunities and helping vendors expand their programs over time. I built the onboarding initiatives, standard operating procedures, and automations that kept delivery consistent at scale, trained and led a team of four consultants, ran Customer Success campaigns, and led partnership initiatives that grew both lead volume and quality. I also managed CRM integrations across HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Marketo, and Zapier, and worked closely with the development team to translate vendor feedback into product improvements and shape the roadmap. I now bring everything I learned from scaling that program to SaaS vendors who need a high impact Customer Success partner without the overhead of a full time hire. Whether you need someone to own onboarding, drive product adoption, manage account health, or build the retention playbook your team can grow with, I operate as an embedded fractional or contract Customer Success lead who gets results from day one. If your post sale journey needs structure, consistency, and someone who has done this at scale, let's talk.

- Founder & Principal Consultant · Stack Champ09-01-2025 –
I am the founder of Stack Champ, a UK-based software consultancy that helps businesses buy software and software vendors retain customers. I operate globally and bring over six years of experience supporting more than 2,000 organisations with software buying and vendor support. Having previously scaled an early-stage software advisory program through to a successful acquisition, I launched Stack Champ to offer truly independent and straightforward support. I specialise in two core areas: Software Buying: I take the complexity out of procurement, handling everything from initial audits and vendor evaluation to contract negotiation and technical rollout. Customer Success Services: I serve as a fractional partner for SaaS vendors, designing high-touch success strategies that drive onboarding, adoption, and long-term retention. My goal is to ensure technology aligns with business needs, without the jargon or the overhead of a full-time hire.

Key Contributions: PPL Program Leadership: Scaled the program from launch to acquisition, ensuring high-quality matchmaking between businesses and software vendors. Revenue & Sales Strategy: Led outbound sales, strategic partnerships, and sales cycle analytics, playing a key role in optimising revenue streams and vendor retention.
