About

My mission as an engineer and educator is to leverage my skills to support learning communities. With a background in invention and engineering, I am passionate about STEM tutoring and project mentorship. I hold a U.S. Patent for a blood-oxygen saturation sensor and have been an advocate for invention education. My career aspirations include improving educational gaps, particularly in reading proficiency, through innovative teaching strategies.

  Academic tutor for K-12 students in an after-school program with a dozen students of varying skill levels and needs in all subjects. Facilitated an Invention Week Event where students created invention prototypes using recycled materials. Responsibilities included private at-home tutoring, contacting teachers regarding students' grades, and creating student worksheets and academic games.

  Worked on an intern project to resolve backward incompatibility between Teams Walkie Talkie platform services. Gained understanding of Service Fabric model, Azure Dev Ops pipelines, and ASP.NET frameworks. Documented progress and resources for future reference and presented solutions to larger teams and management.

  Served in various roles including UI Team Co-Leader and Containers Developer Team member. Organized tasks, communicated with developers, and expanded knowledge in UI containers and JavaScript. Assisted in research studies and contributed to academic papers.

  Led a team of 12+ individuals to organize and execute GraceHacks's Annual hackathon. Collaborated with campus and community organizations to promote involvement in computer science among womxn and non-binary students.
