I hold a masters in Molecular biology from Central South university degree in Genetics specialized in analyzing differentially expressed miRNAs in THP-1 cell-derived macrophages exposed to mycobacterium avium vs controls as potential biomarkers. I have previous work experience as a laboratory assistant under SAASTA (South African Agency for Science and Technology Advancement) as well as a student tutor (genetics and biology) at UFS. I am skilled in Teaching/Tutoring, Microsoft Office, Exosome and RNA extraction from cultured cells and serum/plasma, qRT-PCR, sRNA-sequence data analysis, microarray data analysis, cell culture, and transfection.
