Hello! I'm Mariama Njie, a junior English Major with a Double Minor in Writing & Photography at Spelman College. I am passionate about advocacy and aspire to find a career integrating advocacy and creativity. Throughout my high school and college career, I have been allowed to collaborate with others from various cultures and backgrounds, allowing me to become a strong advocate for them with a passion for writing and activism. With my work, I have specialized in sharing the black experience, specifically regarding black women and women's rights. I am most interested in opportunities that allow me to perfect my craft within photography, filmmaking, and writing further. I aspire to use my voice to uplift others in my community and various communities worldwide. With this responsibility, I could continue to advocate for the issues that are critical to making the world a better place.
