I'm a Brazilian software engineer with over five years of experience with Rust. Throughout this time, I actively contributed to the Brazilian community and have used Rust in various contexts, from creating PoC at early-stage startups to helping deliver more than 60 million monthly orders at Latin America's largest food delivery platform. I'm very interested in programming languages and type systems, concurrent programming, and distributed systems. I enjoy using type-system expressiveness to encode high-level concepts and working with performance-critical applications.

  At iFood, Latin America's largest food delivery platform, I've worked at the Logistics Tribe as a Senior Engineer replacing the existing service architecture, implemented with Java, with a new microservice-based design in Rust Highlights: - Helped in the design and implementation of resilient services capable of handling at least 3x the normal workload (60M requests per month); - Joined the company's Rust Committee, helping with the performance, quality, maintenance, and design of new and old Rust services across the company; - Developed and proposed a hexagonal model leveraging Rust strengths that were adopted by many teams as the default architecture for new Rust services; - Mentored new and seasoned developers interested in Rust.
