Hi there, Max here! I am an NYC-based creative discovering the intersection of design, technology, psychology, and business through creative problem solving and strategy. Prior to becoming a designer, I graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in Information Systems in the Farmer School of Business, as well as a B.A. in Spanish. After graduating, I decided to pursue a career in UX Design, where I am now enrolled in the UX Academy at Designlab learning all about UX Design and honing my skills with hands-on projects. Taking my analytical education and mixing that with my creative mind, I get to bridge my love of technology with my passion for art and design, while getting to mix in psychology and business principles. My previous internship experience allowed me to dig into that analytical side where I had the opportunity to work on enhancing the user experience in data auditing processes by utilizing SQL and Excel to build intuitive, data-driven solutions that improved the accuracy and accessibility of census data used internally. I also worked on designing and implementing a streamlined data entry automation system using SQL, which significantly improved user efficiency and reduced processing time, leading to a more seamless workflow for end-users. In addition to all of that, I have 8 years of experience in the restaurant/food/service industry where I have spent many days serving people in. range of locations including a country club, a snack bar, and an event hall working on weddings, banquets, and other events.
