I like to do different things, and do them differently. I really care about making the world feel more human. I have a lot of hours in Python, a lot of hours in electrical design, and I love to think about products, how people will use them, and how their design will effect their functionality.

  I joined a small, dynamic medical device startup as one of the first employees. I built circuit boards and programmed them, bridging the gap between the hardware and firmware teams. I expanded my responsibilities to include supporting the product team by translating technical knowledge into clearly written documentation.

  I designed a hardware & software system for chemical sensing using IOT sensors. I documented the system and trained lab users to enable the extension of my project into a conference paper.

  I became the point of contact for students wishing to use the makerspace for projects. I solved problems for students by translating their desires into an actionable plan using my deep understanding of workshop capabilities. I taught workshops on common tools and maintained the space.
