Hi! I'm an experienced web and mobile engineer, with over 10 years experience in full-stack development and over 5 years experience leading and growing engineering teams. My main technical focus areas are React, React Native, Typescript, and Ruby/Rails or Node backends (increasingly with Google firebase, but also AWS). I'm the founder of a company that provides a native app and wearable device to help users overcome addiction, but am open to short-term contracting opportunities to help support the project as we grow through our early stages!

  I'm building https://impulse.training, a wearable app and accompanying app that helps users overcome addictions. We use React Native / Expo with a Google Firebase backend, with data analytics powered by DBT and Google BigQuery.

  As lead engineer from the company's launch, I helped build data integration, customer-facing and back of house systems to support growth from a $1m to $50m valuation over 2 years. Our systems processed billions of data events as our sustainable fashion product went on to be used by some of the largest retailers worldwide.
