As a student trustee, I had a number of responsibilities and duties, including: Attending board meetings: I would be expected to attend all board meetings and participate in discussions and decision-making processes. Representing the student body: I would be responsible for bringing the perspectives and concerns of the student body to the board, and for communicating information about board decisions and policies to students. Participating in committees: I was be asked to serve on committees or task forces, where I would work with other trustees and stakeholders to address specific issues or projects. Advocating for students: I would have the opportunity to advocate for students and their needs, and to speak up on behalf of the student body. Overall, my role as a student trustee was to serve as a representative and advocate for the students in your school or district, and to contribute to the decision-making processes that shape the policies and direction of the school or district.
