Hello I’m Nicholas Valdez! I’m a UX/UI Designer from Dallas, Tx who studied at The University of North Texas. I’m passionate about solving complex problems with innovation and inclusion at the fore front of my design thinking. As a father and designer It’s important to me to be responsible for designing ethically driven solutions. I strive to use my curiosity, empathy, and leadership to advocate for my users through user friendly design. My expertise is in UX/UI Design, UX Research, and Graphic Design.   • Gave back to Non-Profit organizations by formulating teams of developers, designers and project managers to execute a website redesign. • Collaborated and efficiently communicated with team members to perform weekly design sprints. • Adapted design ideas to developers abilities.

• Design Internship · Sabre02-01-2022 – 05-05-2022

  • Responsible for reviewing and updating PowerPoint UXPA workshop materials, based on resume and portfolio building. • Designed worksheets and toolkits for future events. • Assisted in planning and promoting the Tim Berners-Lee event. • Designed and researched prototype-persona mock-ups using PowerPoint. • Scheduled weekly meetings with supervisor to update and analyze data and research content.
