I believe that learning plays a key role in any interaction. The progress of individuals and communities relies on these learning interactions. As the saying goes— "give a man a fish, feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime!"As the world moves towards automation, the future of our human condition comes into question. What must we learn and how should we be learning are questions I am working to answer. My interests in digital and physical media have led to projects in the areas of Interaction Design, Game Design, Product Design, Education, and Environmental Conservation.

Experience

• Product Designer · Oceanic Circles2024-01-01 –

  Consulting on product design for a cybersecurity startup building their first product interface. Analyzed the competition and market trends to identify gaps and position the product, iterated on concepts with experts from the industry and built out the user flows and detailed wireframes for their MVP.

• Product Designer · Stealth Startup2023-10-01 – 2024-04-01

  Working on a 0 to 1 product in the content + social platform space with a team with background in the Media industry. Conducted user interviews and market research to position the product. Created variations of the product message to test through ads on Instagram. Studied the competition to identify a unique product message and develop a UI style from there. Ideated on features towards the product concept of social curations in line with insights from the user research. Wireframed and prototyped high fidelity screens for testing and development.

• Product Designer · Inspirit2021-10-01 – 2023-10-01

  Building the next generation of teacher tools - around 3D resources, VR simulations, Assessments and Grading. Designed a 3D resource website - that grew from 500 to 40,000 MAU over a year. Storyboarded learning experiences in VR. Led the team in creating a design system used by Web and 3D teams. Took on product management responsibilities - conducted user research and sprint planning. Set up product analytics across VR, AR and the Web.

• Student Volunteer Chair India HCI 2021 · INDIA HCI Conference2021-03-01 – 2021-11-01

  Invited to organize the student volunteer team for India HCI 2021. India HCI is an annual conference in the area of Human Computer Interaction that brings together a community of designers and researchers. The student volunteer team hosted the fully online event over 4 days. The team also hosted a special session inviting NGOs to the conference for the first time, in line with the theme of 'Design for Disruption'. The team also identified the challenge of accessing mentorship and worked with cmdplusj to onboard research mentors and students and recent grads.
