Roland Ellis is an Industrial Designer specialising in physical product development and brand-led design. He bridges creative and technical disciplines, connecting concept strategy with design for manufacture. His work spans custom lighting, consumer products, and experiential spaces, with a focus on tackling human and engineering challenges through clear, actionable design thinking. Trained in Industrial Design (BSc, Brunel University London) and with professional experience in China’s packaging industry, Roland has collaborated with artists including Troika, Wolfgang Buttress, and Design Studio Mettle, as well as lighting specialists Haberdashery. He has delivered projects for clients such as Google, Sonos, Montblanc, and Folk Clothing. Roland applies an analytical, cross-disciplinary approach that helps teams move seamlessly from concept to production, while ensuring physical products align with brand and market strategy.
