  Amazon Validation Engine (AVE), a central rule engine for Amazon's internal HR system. AVE offers a validation service that allows clients to configure rules and is used extensively for validating requests. My responsibilities included working on the data validation across the downstream data along with evaluated data with latency less than 500ms. As a central validation engine service, AVE provides configurable rules and uses these rules to validate requests from multiple services such as HR and Payroll. The service offers a 99% SLA of 300ms, excluding dependencies on downstream services. I used Composite design pattern extensively to evaluate the rules that are highly reused across the system. The system was built using Java, DynamoDB, Redis, Git, Algorithms, and Data Structures, and the service had a throughput of 1000 requests per second.

  Developed the web-based application for Sales team to provide insights into their portfolio performance facilitated through automated analytical reports using Hack, Python, Django, JavaScript, D3.js. Implemented scalable architecture with distributed and parallel systems using Celery, RabbitMQ, Redis. Built optimized APIs and pipelines to extract and transform data from multiple sources for dynamic reporting. Enhanced system performance and reduced error rate to minimal using queue based approach and API throttling. Optimized queries, stored procedures and added auto clean up cron jobs to tackle disk storage issues while maintaining data integrity.

Developed the front end webpages using jsp, jQuery, java script, bootstrap. Backend development using java, spring MVC to make database calls and handle HTTP requests. Designed the database for the modules with organized tables with effective relationships. Wrote efficient Stored Procedures to do CRUD operations using MySQL.
