Hi! I am Sara, a UX/UI Designer with a background in hospitality, photography, real estate, product design, user research, and cross-functional collaboration. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. With bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, I bring a unique blend of UX thinking and partner engagement to every initiative. After transitioning from hospitality and real estate to product and UX/UI, I’ve focused on designing internal user flows, improving onboarding systems, and streamlining operational processes to support both user and business outcomes. At Retreats and Venues I led cross-functional design strategy for venue partnerships, conducted in-depth qualitative research, and driven UI/UX system improvements that have improved internal decision-making by 20% and team engagement by 40%. I’ve also developed structured frameworks and journey maps that reduce delays and improved handoff clarity between operations, sales, and partner teams. Beyond that, I’ve conducted over 600 candidate interviews for roles ranging from software engineers to C-level executives, delivering candidate experiences with a 95% satisfaction rate. I also freelance as both a UI/UX Designer and a Commercial Photographer. My projects keep me with a sharp eye for detail, visual hierarchy, and user-centered storytelling.
