  Manage the CloudFormation Console Team, a top 10 console serving 1.8 million customers every day and deployed to more than 30 regions in over 15 countries. Lead multiple projects on constrained non-negotiable timelines, reducing time to build the entire service by 80%, a dependency for hundreds of other teams, adding a repeatable 12 days of slack to the company per region, saving an average of 96 developer days a year, while migrating the service to Serverless technologies and React Query. Prioritized strategic roadmap while working cross functionally with 5 separate IAC service teams across 2 different orgs to deliver two AWS level goals, as the sole UX team for CloudFormation. Hired and developed the best as Hiring Manager for UX across the organization, setting product roadmap and growing the team from 4-10 in a 5 month period. Managed a budget of $2.6 million delivering a Design System rewrite and an Infrastructure as Code rewrite over the course of 13 months, 4 months ahead of schedule. Worked cross-functionally with government agencies and infrastructure teams to balance privileged information and technology parity, delivering CI/CD in an environment where the results of integration tests were classified information, improving infrastructure reliability with CloudWatch Synthetics and AWS CDK.

  Lead and mentor engineers to build a robust online payments platform for the residential and commercial real estate rental industry by balancing security, speed, reliability, on old and new technology. Architected and lead the backend AWS Lambda API and React-Native effort replicating 5 years of technology within a 3-month time frame, resulting in the Domuso Resident and Domuso Manager Mobile apps. Rewrote and optimized Domuso’s bank settlement reconciliation process from an 18 hour process to 1 hour using SNS/SQS/DynamoDB. Utilized AWS Step functions to coordinate previously asynchronous workflows to make an asynchronous payment posting process seemingly real-time for properties and renters. Created and communicated the heuristics across our micro-services backend for retry-ability to increase predictability and reliability across the app, reducing the work our ops team needs to do to ensure money is being moved. Managed Scrum responsibilities turning a team that used to have unpredictable product deadlines into a 2 week sprint predictable machine.
