As a third-year Computer Science student, I'm eager about leveraging technology to sculpt the future and drive innovation. Currently, I'm honing my skills in various programming languages such as Python and C, and exploring diverse areas within computer science, from algorithms to cybersecurity and software engineering. Working with the NHS to create a skin cancer tracking app that will be deployed to patients, has given me the chance to use the skills that I have learned so far, enabling me to understand the work style of a professional setting. I thrive in collaborative environments and am always eager to connect with fellow students, professionals, and mentors who share my passion for technology.   I teach students from years as young as yr3 all the up to A-level with a variety of educational backgrounds. Have learnt to change and improvise the way I explain and get across information to the students. All the children have a different style of understanding and if one way isn't understood, I have to be quick to change without putting pressure. Understood the importance of creating a welcoming and comfortable environment to study, learn, make mistakes and improve. Improved my time management skills by working alongside doing my degree.

• Back End Intern · Thought Machine2024-07-01 – 2024-09-01

  I was assigned to a project for the 10 weeks, within a team at Thought Machine. I created an Elasticsearch instance in order to query data quickly and efficiently. I learnt how to thoroughly document my project before, during and after creation. I learnt the importance of reviewing other team members' code minutely, in-depth checking has to be done to avoid issues later. I gained skills like using Kubernetes, Kafka etc during this project.

  Fresh new approach to working with AI. First insight into some of the tools they used in the company.

• Virtual Work Experience | Vodafone · Springpod2021-08-01 – 2021-08-01

  Had a fun experience of creating a product from start to finish, with safety nets and precise feedback. Created Digital Ads, Personas, and Product Display, with templates and guidance. Understood the certain protocols they had to follow during the process.
