I am a recent MPHTM graduate from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and am excited to put my education and experience to work! I have been a remote research assistant intern with the Laboratorio de Investigación de Enfermedades Zoonóticas in Arequipa, Peru since Spring 2022 and completed my Applied Practice Experience in country with them from May to August 2022. There, I used RStudio to analyze survey data regarding the community's knowledge, attitudes, and practices around the local Chagas disease vector, Triatoma infestans. I have experience using several data analysis platforms, including RStudio, SAS, STATA, and SPSS, have contributed as an author to several manuscripts, have presented research findings at conferences such as the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and have vast knowledge of various tropical and infectious diseases and prevention methods associated with them.
