Most recently, I’ve worked as a backend engineer at Nubila.ai and as a mobile/hardware engineer at Ilume, where I solved critical stability issues and built large-scale APIs. Before that, I co-founded and served as CTO of Norby, a robotics startup, leading innovations in automation, IoT, and online platforms. In this role, I was responsible for both developing custom functionality and managing projects for the Harvey Norman Group. I led the redesign and migration of our ecommerce platform from a single-instance model to a cloud-based, scalable solution on AWS, greatly improving maintainability and scalability. I worked closely with the Harvey Norman Group to manage daily deployments and implement new features rapidly across multiple regions, supporting their need for quick experimentation. Additionally, I played a central role in expanding the company's international presence by establishing a dedicated support team in Manila, Philippines. This included overseeing the recruitment, technical evaluation, and training of developers, designers, and QA personnel. I also managed the successful transition of existing clients to the new platform, maintaining high standards of development throughout ongoing improvements.
