Hi all! I’m Amanda Miller, a dedicated nursing student with hands-on experience providing holistic, patient-centered care in both clinical and hospital settings. As a CNA and Clinical Nurse Secretary at Alamance Regional Medical Center on a medical surgical unit, I am driven to support diverse patient populations with empathy, attention to detail, and teamwork at the heart of everything I do. I am now working at Alamance Regional Medical Center in the Emergency Department as a Nurse Tech II! The ED gives me the opportunity to showcase skills that I wouldn’t get the opportunity to do on my medical surgical floor! I am learning new things every day and I’m so grateful to be a part of the Cone Student Nurse Extern program this summer! When I’m not working you can find me currently pursuing my ADN at Guilford Technical Community College, where I’m also an active member of Phi Theta Kappa. Whether it’s feeding 100+ veterans or helping students find scholarships, I’m passionate about service, kindness and spreading empathy. My past leadership experience as a restaurant manager taught me how to multitask, stay organized, and communicate clearly. These are skills that directly translate to fast-paced healthcare environments. I bring a strong work ethic, clinical knowledge, and an extremely kind heart to every shift.
