About

With a diverse background in design, content creation, and analysis, I am currently pursuing dual Master of Science degrees at the University of Southern California, focusing on Integrated Business, Design & Technology and User Experience Design. As Lead Designer at Screenless Entertainment, I spearheaded the development of CHANCE, an educational card game inspired by West African and South Asian cultures. My role involved UX/UI design, product development, and brand creation. I have over eight years of experience as a content creator, producing engaging online shows and collaborating with indie game developers. Previously, I served as a Content Management Analyst at Wolters Kluwer, where I developed tax-related resources and managed client communications. My analytical skills were honed as an Associate Government Program Analyst at the California Civil Rights Department, investigating discrimination complaints. I am passionate about blending creativity with technology to create impactful user experiences.

LEADERSHIP - Researched and identified a white space in the toy community for portable games rooted in West African and South Asian cultures. UX/UI RESEARCH & DESIGN - Followed the design process to develop mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for an educational card game, CHANCE, loosely based on a grandparents method to teach math to children. CHANCE is now on its second physical prototype as a visually pleasing and entertaining family card game. Utilized Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma to create the brand color palette, logo, and conceptual layout for the card game. Went through multiple design iterations after receiving valuable feedback from users via surveys and game testing. Drafted rules that could create a consistent experience for players of all ages and created a simple website to host the rules. PRODUCT DESIGN - Created the first prototype of CHANCE, sent the physical game cards out to testers. After analyzing feedback, visual design was updated to address key user issues of theme continuity and length of game. Rules were revised to become even easier to understand. The second prototype design is currently in progress with plans to send it to print by the end of August 2024.
