Experience
- Senior Designer · Howden04-01-2023
Digital and print design with a heavy focus of large reports, data visualisation, marketing brochures and digital pitch communications such as decks that are presented alongside a speaker and printed pitchbooks and proposal documents. An achievement of mine here was winning Howden an award for 'best data visualisation' from the DataIQ awards 2024, for a large report based on the injuries or football players across the 5 major European leagues, which involved interpreting vast amounts of data, alongside an external data-consolidation company, followed by narrative structure, with Howden brokers and then visualising it and getting physical and digital copies made for in-person or digital distribution.
- Senior Designer · Captify Technologies01-01-2022 – 04-01-2023
Working under the the global head of Studio, I managed the UK Studio team which functioned as an added-value offering to a predominantly data-oriented company. Studio focussed on interactive openweb adverts for major global consumer company campaigns, alongside their specific agencies. We took clients like Microsoft, Uber, Ralph Lauren, HMG, Boots, VF Corp and more through a 10-day SLA to get assets for campaigns into action and live. My role focussed on developing my team and ensuring job satisfaction. Also, I was responsible for quarterly sales for our department and upselling/ pitching new and existing clients into high-value creative work to acheive more from their campaigns, bespoke to each campaigns specific KPI.
- Senior Designer · AstraZeneca09-01-2021 – 01-01-2022
Working with all 11 UK product teams, I would help elevate communications across all channels, predominantly targeted at HCPs within the UK. I also helped define brand identity for products and worked closely on the multichannel campaign in order to deliver creative goals either in-house or through offshore production teams that I would workshop with and work closely to increase the standard of, despite very quick SLAs and cultural impacts.
- Global design lead · Lightsource BP07-01-2018 – 01-01-2021
After working to improve the standard of small in-house team, I was eventually made Global lead, as the business grew. My main remit was to function as a brand lead, workshop with the wider company teams, from Asset Management to Solicitors, to ensure practice that made our visuals look consistent and industry-leading. Our focus was to make marketing material, our brand identity, event stands and accompaniments and our internal comms all match/improve on the quality of BP, after it became a partner, as they were pivotal to the global success.
- Head of design · Maxwell's Restaurants Group06-01-2016 – 07-01-2018
Running the design for 12 brands of restaurants, clubs and bars around Covent Garden and Soho, my job was predominantly to define brands and maintain all of their creative needs. Menus, posters, branded events, new venue branding, social media campaigns, websites, newsletters, promotional videos, illustrations of cocktails and venue concepts (of which some of the latter were featured in London's Evening Standard)
