Once upon a time, there was a kid who loved doodling. That kid was me. As I grew up, my doodles turned into designs, and my passion for art led me to become a designer. What skills do I bring to the table? I have worked for 8+ years in the design industry and have managed over 400 projects. The teams I led consisted of more than 50 employees. I chose to use Agile methods in my projects, to craft and polish designs, learn from each iteration, and ensure timely delivery. I highly value the trust placed in me when entrusted with a project, and I consistently give 200% to ensure its success. Finally, I thrive in a team environment, am always learning new skills to upgrade myself and leverage my past skills to make better design decisions.

  - Increased production orders for the fashion client 'Sally la Lapointe' from 5% to 20% by understanding client requirement on sustainability, creating meticulous timeline and budget, and seamlessly coordination with the team to ensure timely implementation. - Contributed to fashion weeks in Paris, New York, and Milan, leading intensive 4 to 7-week sprints culminating in outfit presentations at fashion shows. - Research market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to inform product offerings. - Generate reports on sales, order status, and inventory levels to support decision-making. - Build and maintain positive client relationships to foster long-term partnerships.

  - Tasked with conceptualizing and executing the Humber Colleges Impact report/booklet catered towards employers, Alumni, prospective students. The reports main goal was to present the institution's vision, mission, course offerings, pilot programs, learning labs, and notable achievements in a comprehensive and engaging way. - Designed iconographic reports of the available resources offered at Humber college to current students.

• User Experience Designer · Humber International Graduate School (IGS)02-01-2024 – 05-01-2024

  - Conducted research on the internal website used by students and found that students had difficulty in booking an appointment, thus I created an roadmap explaining the problem's importance. - Subsequently, partnered with product and development teams to refine the website and application interfaces that resulted in a 7% increase in student successfully completing their task of booking an appointment. - Developed prototypes for refining the user experience on the internal website, these recommendations led to a change in 3 features used by students.

• Communications Volunteer · Canadian Red Cross10-01-2023

  - Developed content tailored to a youth audience, including social media posts, newsletters, and event promotions. - Foster a sense of belonging and collaboration among young participants, encouraging discussion and feedback. - Collaborated with volunteers managements team to develop online surveys aimed at gathering feedback from volunteer about their experiences, challenges and suggestions. - Gathered data each week to create internal newsletter letting all the volunteers know regarding the latest achievements, past and upcoming events.

• Fashion Designer · Sarah Design Studio07-01-2016 – 11-01-2020

  - Introduced an Agile sprint framework organization-wide to streamline fashion projects and address production challenges. This initiative effectively resolved communication issues that frequently resulted in garment construction issues, misinterpretation of technical packs, fabric and material wastage, and missed delivery deadlines and led to an increase in revenue of the company by 12%. - Oversaw garment fittings and construction, ensuring precise measurements and fit across various projects. - Successfully completed 30+ product development for fashion client Gomez Gracia.
