I am a leader with diverse experience in IT, project/program management with a focus on infrastructure. A collaborative leader of large global technical teams in the delivery of transformational initiatives. Over 30 years of IT experience in Cloud Services, Retail, Infrastructure Transformation, DevOps, Networks, Security, Business Intelligence, Architecture, Standardization and Deployment. Projects have been as large as $14 million; complex and time-bound. I really enjoy being at ground zero of an opportunity and leading a team to create the vision of the solution and then bring that vision to life.

I respond to Request for Proposals and complete Scope Statements for the engagement when finalized. As the leader of the Project Management Office (PMO) I also manage a number of the Projects that we execute.

• Director, Operations Engineering Quickplay Media · AT&T Canada/Quickplay Media06-01-2015 – 02-01-2019

  Executed Capacity and Performance architecture and infrastructure adjustments to extend life and customer size for premier mobile client (utilized application and data centre for an additional year, 200% of initial content and 10 times the customer base). Resulted in the product being able to capture additional market share and retain revenue growth (+$100 million) Production operations management ensuring 24x7 operation of real-time system to millions of customers world-wide ($10 million annual capital budget) Implemented managed service infrastructure in two Cloud data centres in Asia with auto-scaling for customer loads resulting in increased performance and both client and customer satisfaction. Drove a strategy for the migration of all business-to-business services to Cloud infrastructure to save capital costs and increase agility Led a team of up to 25 technical professionals, spread over three countries with accountability for the Design and Build, L2 and L3 Support for the infrastructure of a managed service that delivered services to our Global Customer Base. Utilized On-Premise, Cloud and IAAS capabilities. Consolidated Data Centres achieving $600,000 annual savings by moving clients and services that were providing end-consumer services. (2 Data Centres closed, 20 racks & 14 racks) utilizing Private and Public Cloud Services Instigated a Global Network connecting facilities in a five-phase plan to Video Streaming services, MPLS connectivity and Internet services increasing capabilities and simplifying management. Implemented Next-Generation Firewall capabilities, Software-defined networking, and private and public-Cloud infrastructure. Collaborated with Sales and Finance teams to translate the Sales Contract into the Invoices that were sent to Clients that accurately reflected the Services that we were providing Maintained stable relations with providers by assuming accountability for the Accounts Receivable function after the Start-up was acquired

  As the Portfolio Director for the Infrastructure I was the steward of the assets that "IT uses to run IT" (hardware, OS, Network, SAN, etc) and the applications that IT uses (ITSM, schedulers, monitors, etc). My team scanned our vendors looking for End-of-Sale/Support/Life situations with our asset base and launched projects to remediate the situation. We solicited our internal customers to determine their satisfaction with the existing assets and remediated if there is a gap between what the asset was doing and what the customer wanted done. As the PCI Portfolio Director, I initiated projects to allow SDM to remain PCI Compliant.
