I'm Ellie, a Product Designer with 2 years of experience contributing to the end-to-end design process and 7 years experience as a technical recruiter. While at the startup, Kick Back Space, I helped the company achieve 15% customer growth through establishing their first user research practice, leading complex design challenges, and leveraging research data to advocate for users. I have 7 years of experience as a Technical Recruiter managing the hiring process for hard to fill technical roles. This experience sharpened my skills in researching competitors and industry insights, analyzing data to improve areas of the hiring process and consistently advocating for positive candidate experience. I'm looking to apply my research skills & ability to create seamless experiences during my time as a Product Designer and Technical Recruiter to a full-time, hybrid or remote based Product Designer or UX Designer role with an established design team.   Designed kinkofa's kinnect mid-fidelity prototype using information architecture research as well as user interview feedback that optimized both client and user needs. Constructed a high-fidelity prototype while making sure accessibility standards were met, which resulted in 100% task completion rate by the second round of testing. Led comprehensive research initiatives for the development of a new mobile application, kinnect, including user interviews, persona creation and two rounds of usability testing.
