Currently pursuing a degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, expected to graduate in 2026, I have gained extensive experience in cybersecurity and technology through various internships and fellowships. As a Cyber Security Intern at TIAA, I developed innovative data solutions and led a team to third place in a hackathon. At NASA's Mission Concept Academy, I utilized GIS software to analyze Martian terrain for potential landing sites. My role at Snap Inc. involved creating engaging AR lenses, achieving significant user engagement. Additionally, I have held positions at Chrysallis.AI, where I performed cybersecurity tasks, including SIEM tool usage, malware remediation, and policy development. My work as a SOC/GRC analyst focused on improving cybersecurity governance and risk management.

  Cross-Functional Experience: Gained valuable insights and skills by working with both Cybersecurity and HR teams, utilizing advanced tools like Black Kite and BitSight to analyze insider threats and vulnerabilities, and integrating LLMs with AWS Bedrock, Cloud9, and Claude 3.5 for data processing. Innovative Data Solutions: Developed and tested a Batch Reporting System for over 15,000 institutions using Snowflake, Spark/PySpark, and Excel, significantly improving data governance and ETL processes. Hackathon Achievement: Led Byte Down team to 3rd place in TIAA's annual hackathon, T3Hack, by creating an application that automated the extraction of key business metrics from PDF files using generative AI and embedding models.

  As a GIS analyst at the MCA, I utilized software like JMARS and techniques like Spatial Analysis to identify suitable landing sites like the Holden Crater on Mars and ascertain other essential details. My tasks included: Apply Spatial Analysis techniques with Java Mission Planning and Analysis (JMARS) software to undertake precise analysis of Holden Craters' terrain, climate, radiation levels, and water-ice sources; Utilize JMARS to identify the landing spots' coordinates on Mars and determine their distance from important scientific and resource-rich areas, while keeping the missions objectives and safety standards in consideration.

• AR Software Development and Digital Storytelling · Snap Inc.01-01-2024 – 04-01-2024

  Lens Development: Conceptualized, designed, and developed three engaging Augmented Reality (AR) Lenses for Snapchat, employing a blend of creativity and technical expertise. Collaborated closely with Snap Inc. teams to ensure alignment with platform guidelines and user preferences. Engagement Metrics: Achieved outstanding engagement results, with over 2.2 million views and a reach of 1.2 million unique users across the three published Lenses. Demonstrated the ability to captivate and resonate with a diverse audience through innovative AR experiences. Recognition and Presentation: Recognized as a top performer among externs, selected to present the final Lens directly to Snap Inc. management. Leveraged the opportunity to showcase innovative ideas and contribute to the evolution of Snapchat's AR ecosystem.

  The cybersecurity internship is designed to provide exposure to a variety of security tasks that one should expect a junior or entry-level security analyst to perform. These include reimaging machines that have been previously compromised, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tool usage, virus/malware remediation, and general tasks of a cybersecurity professional. In addition, each semester as interns, we will be required to complete one special security-focused project that will serve as a more detailed look into one specific security need. • SOC/GRC analyst · Chrysallis.AI, Inc.07-01-2023 – 02-01-2024

  The mission of this position is to build and continuously improve the Cyvergance.AI cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance management function, focusing on driving improvements in cyber risk management related to sensitive data, systems, third-party vendors, and cloud environments. l will work with cross-functional teams and asset owners to ensure compliance with security policies and standards, relevant regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity controls. I will also be responsible for maturing and enhancing the cyber risk assessment and third-party cyber risk management processes. Members, such as myself, will report to the CISO and attend the weekly ITCCB in order to brief the risk identified and make recommendations on how to mitigate this risk. These individuals will also help the CISO maintain the CIS CSAT dashboard, POAM Management and maintain the residual risk register for Cyvergance.AI.
