I started my career as a Web Developer/Designer, then went on to lead projects, then teams. As the company grew, I was asked to bring in more talent, which I discovered I enjoyed, so I gradually specialized in technical recruitment and people management. After many years of leading HR teams and initiatives, I missed the creative side of problem-solving. I also realized that some of the accomplishments I was proudest of were actually products, so I decided to use my experience to help build technology products that delight HR Professionals and employees alike, and to help organizations improve their processes around people and technology.   • As part of the Board/Exec team, designed and implemented multiple initiatives of strategy and culture. • Led the organization through a 2x headcount growth between 2010 and 2015 and again between 2015 and 2022, with a high focus on software industry recruiting (Devs, UXDs, Product Managers, Digital Marketers, etc.). • Defined and delivered OKRs that contributed to the higher organizational goals. • Hired, led & coached a global team of 8 HR professionals. • Facilitated HR Innovation workshops with other organization stakeholders. • Oversaw 10 successful visa sponsoring processes (H1b and L-1). • Oversaw 6 successful M&A processes, and acted as advisor to the CEO on the evaluation of M&A candidates • Designed and established effective remote work policies to support a team in 4 continents. • Developed total compensation strategies to match multiple national markets and positions. • Designed and Implemented HR Technology solutions to support the growing needs of the organization: o HRIS and Payroll, ATS, LMS o Compensation benchmarking tools & processes o People Analytics Dashboards to monitor HR metrics & KPIs o Recognition Platform that improved participation by 60%, saved $10k/year in licensing fees and reduced TTV from 3 months to less than 2 weeks o Performance Management framework tailored to the organizational culture & values o Successful API Integrations of different systems (LMS-HRIS, ATS-HRIS, Sharepoint-HRIS, etc.) to create a single source of truth (SSOT) system for the whole organization • Evaluated and established over 15 Workforce Vendor relationships and 3 Professional Employment Organization (PEO) programs to support the organization’s talent needs. • Designed a DEI Strategy (created a Mission document, Diversity Reports, started ERGs, and curated multiple learning paths). • Achieved lower-than-average attrition & multiple Best Place to Work and Best Company awards during my tenure.
