With a Bachelor's degree in English from St. Cloud State University and a background in Medieval Studies from Saint John's University, I have built a diverse career in technology and AI. Currently, I serve as the Applied AI Strategist, CTO, and Founding Engineer at Viscera Systems, where I prototype AI agents and design application architectures. My expertise extends to building LLM models and developing consumer-facing platforms using Typescript and Python. As a consultant at Pragmapool, Inc., I provide strategic consulting and technical development services while writing technical tutorials. Previously, I co-founded Seven Interruptions, LLC, focusing on process improvement for organizations. My role as a Senior Software Engineer at Protolabs involved contributing to software development and quality assurance strategies. Experience

  Prototyped artificial intelligence agents and LLM chains with Langchain, Autogen, LlamaIndex and others using LLM models both in the cloud like OpenAIs GPT and Anthropics Claude as well as a wide range of local models via frameworks like Ollama using both Typescript and Python. Built tuned Llama-lineage models for Ollama for content tone adjustment and StableDiffusion/FLUX.1 for consistent image subject generation. Designed overall application architecture for consumer-facing application platform: Typescript APIs and background job processing with NestJS, front-end web apps using Nuxt3, AI API to run LLM prompts using Python and FastAPI, and n8n workflows, deployed on DigitalOcean and Supabase. Wrote initial prototype versions of front end apps, most of the server-side apps, built out and ran the dev ops stack. Mentored a small team of developers and others in systems thinking, systems design, coding with AI quickly without introducing increased bug counts. Built multi-step LLM task chains with granular step definitions to increase reliability, reduce vulnerability to prompt injection and self-correct errors. Extensive work and experimentation on LLM prompt engineering, prompt generation, prompt de-composition and chaining and other prompting techniques.
