Helped craft product strategy, and determined market fit with the founding team. ● Supported pitch to clearly articulate user-centered value proposition, and engaged investors for initial seed round. ● Transformed functional proof-of-concept to miniaturized ready-for-market product, addressing core user needs. ● Designed hardware device and digital interface in collaboration with founders and small cross functional team of technical experts. Envisioned and executed on MVP embedded digital experience and clinician cloud app.

    A medical device and software manufacturer developing products for clinical ultrasound. ∼250-600 employees. Butterfly ultrasound probes connect to a mobile device and are controlled via app. Patient scans are then stored and managed on a Cloud platform. My team was responsible for Software and Hardware design. ● Rebuilt the Design Team. Transformed an underdeveloped design function into an effective, value-added Product partner with consistent quality results. ● Scaled from 1 to 15 Product (UX/UI) & Industrial Designers to support a growing product ecosystem. ● Re-structured for Agile alignment; Established tools, methodologies, and standards to ensure a cohesive, high value user experience across hardware and suite of software products. ● Directed redesign of core software products, enabled expansion into larger enterprise user base, as well as ground-up products, broadening the Butterfly portfolio, unlocking new key markets. ● Transformed and launched key SaaS products including: Butterfly iQ app (iOS & Android), Compass (Enterprise Cloud), E-Comm site, ScanLab (iOS app), Butterfly Garden (SDK); serving over 150k users, resulting in 58% growth in recurring revenue. ● Architected growth strategy across all hardware (probes, accessories, storage, packaging & next-generation products) increasing margins by 10%-30% and driving a 20% increase in customer acquisition.

Farm is part of Flex, a global contract manufacturer of healthcare and consumer products and a leader in IoT development. ● Led ID and UX efforts as part of multi-disciplinary teams developing Healthcare, Scientific and Robotic products, often embedded with client internal teams. ● Supported clients include Amazon, Amgen, Baxalta, Bayer, BD, Canon, Ethicon, Farapulse, IDEX, Gilbarco, J&J, Medtronic, Optinose, Syncardia, Teva, Virtual Incision, Waters. ○ Bayer Healthcare - Led design of hardware and software for powered contrast injection system. 2+ year engagement. Led weekly design reviews. Crafted product strategy. Design for manufacture (2024 launch) ○ Amgen - Facilitated co-creation workshops, leading to development of a suite of products supporting SureClick pen injector platform, easing patient use and improving adherence. ○ Syncardia - Developed a 2nd gen wearable artificial heart driver. I worked in the Global Power Tools group. ● Design Lead for DeWALT cordless outdoor portfolio. Brands first entry into professional landscaping tools. Unlocked a new market opportunity, and generated 10% organic growth in its first year. ● Managed a team of 2 Designers supporting the outdoor expansion & provided guidance for overseas design teams. ● Design Lead for the Porter Cable & Stanley FatMax power tools portfolio. Revitalized the brands through development of a new Visual Brand Language (VBL), competitive intelligence & new product innovation. ● Contributed to product roadmaps, and long term commercial strategy positioning each brand as regional market leaders; driving 16% growth to 200M. ● Led the Industrial Design internship program.
