With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business from the University of Waterloo, I have a strong foundation in both human-centred design and business. My experience includes roles such as Design Mentor, Design Director, and Design Executive at Hack the 6ix, where I provided leadership and guidance in design strategies. I also served as a Product Design Lead at Confocal, UX/UI Designer at Ensightful, and Associate Product Designer at Loblaw Digital.   - Co-led team of 5 UX/UI designers in designing a digital hackathon experience for Toronto’s largest summer hackathon, which attracted 1,700+ hackers, from 11+ countries and 18 sponsors. - Conducted user interviews, surveys, and a competitive analysis to identify pain points in the user flows to improve accessibility and usability. - Collaborated with cross-functional teams by coordinating and prioritizing tasks to rebuild the website with branding, inclusivity, diversity, and accessibility standards in mind, contributing to a 213% increase in hacker applications.

• Product Design Lead · Confocal01-01-2023 – 04-01-2023

  - Partnered with co-founders to define project goals, key features, and drive product strategy. - Led a team of 3 designers in redesigning a protocol creation feature, and established a design system for code base efficiency and design consistency.

• UX/UI Designer (contract) · Ensightful09-01-2022 – 10-01-2022

  - Designed and developed a responsive lead-generation website using Figma and Webflow; established success metrics to guide future data-driven decisions. - Optimized information hierarchy and navigation of the website via UX audit and evaluative research methods. Created moodboard and assets to guide visual direction while maintaining brand’s tone of voice.

• Associate Product Designer · Loblaw Digital09-01-2021 – 12-01-2021

  - Spearheaded the design of a search feature as part of the internal migration of an order management system used in PC Express operations Canada-wide to improve general usability, reducing friction and toil. - Collaborated with an Agile team to ensure alignment with business requirements, scalability, and user needs while working within the existing design system, and seamlessly pivoted from an MVP to full-feature release.
