With a robust educational background in Interaction Design, Fullstack Web Development, and Graphic Design, I have honed my skills across various disciplines. I currently serve as Product Design Lead at Transcenda, where I strategize on consolidating med-tech products and refining clinical trial workflows. Since 2008, I have operated my freelance business, John Ferreira Design, offering comprehensive product design services. As the Founder of Killer Interactions, I provide a masterclass in user interface design. Additionally, I lead Sifter, an open-source intelligence tool aiding investigative processes. My previous role at Judo involved developing a low-code builder for iOS and establishing a user interface design system.

  Sifter, is an open-source intelligence tool (OSINT) That empowers any individual to collect, analyse and report their findings visually. We assist the investigative process by utilizing graphical-link analyses and real-time data mining. All are represented on a node-based graph of the information gathered. It overall makes patterns and multiple-order connections between said information easily identifiable. Typical users are investigative journalists, researchers, and business analysts.

  I was hired to help develop a low-code builder for iOS devices and to assist the company in finding product-market fit. As a target user of the product, I also provided input on user needs. My responsibilities included designing and implementing various features to enhance the product. Achievements: First to Establish the first user interface Design-System.
