Director/Writer creating debut short film, a coming of age called Ladybug. Ladybug is about an anxious Black woman overcoming grief and inauthenticity in the wake of her Grandma's passing. As the writer and director, my goal in making this film is to further the narrative around mental health in the Black community, as well as offer a sweet tale that honors the deceased and motivates us to take action in the present. Accomplishments include writing, directing, and producing a short film proof of concept video that secured $10K in grant funding and leading a successful crowdfunding campaign, raising $6.1K from 83 contributors.

As the only designer at an early stage fintech startup, I did all things design: product, branding, and marketing. Conducted user research studies to discover pain points within the end-to-end lending process. Led ideation sessions with the cofounders, synthesized ideas, and built a product prototype in Figma. This prototype was used to secure $3.3M pre-seed funding and sign on 5 customers. Collaborated with a cross-functional team to turn the Presta prototype into an MVP, leading the entire design process from initial concept to final implementation.
