I am currently pursuing a double major in Business Psychology and Cognitive Science with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction at the University of California - San Diego. I have experience working with numerous non profits and projects as a UI/UX designer.

• UX Research Intern · Ford Motor Company (UCSD Design Lab Partner)10-05-2020

  Conducted exploratory research on how Natural Language Processing responds to vocalics. Collaborated in a team of 6 on the technical/data sector to conduct design research. Developed 2 research scenario scripts with a focus on AI co-pilot engagement states and different variables such as time length.

• Product Designer · Dexcom01-04-2021 – 03-12-2021

  Explained rationales behind design decisions in weekly stakeholder meetings with Dexcom and UCSD Diabetes Design Initiative. Conducted 16 user interviews with stakeholders to empathize with users while focusing on the user flow of Dexcoms Clarity App. Analyzed and identified pain points by creating 4 journey maps & backed with user research to showcase a new user experience.

  Developed mockups and rapid prototypes while iterating on technology opportunities. Conducted market research including surveys, interviews, ideation sessions, and usability evaluations. Worked closely with Sonys Human Factors team to address how might technologies help us stay connected virtually?

  Working closely with VP Internal to expand TSEs outreach among the community. Improving current templates of project proposals and marketing materials while adhering to branding guidelines.
