With a robust background in electrical systems and project management, I have honed my skills over years of hands-on experience and formal education. I completed the Electrical Apprenticeship Program at Mohawk College from 2014 to 2016, building on my foundational education from Red Lake District High School. My career began as a Laborer/Apprentice at Anderson Electric, where I contributed to significant projects like the Goldcorp Mill Expansion and Red Lake Memorial Hospital. I then advanced to an Electrical Installer role at Aaon Airwise, specializing in industrial HVAC systems. Since 2008, I have been with Keltour Controls Inc, where I currently serve as a Project Manager and 442a Industrial Electrician. My responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, assembling automated electrical panels, and collaborating with engineers to resolve schematic issues. I also contribute to shop maintenance and safety, ensuring a productive and secure work environment.

  As a Project Manager, responsible for overseeing projects and ensuring timely completion. As an Electrical Assembler/5th year Industrial Electrical Apprentice, involved in assembling and building various automated electrical panels, including VFD, line reactor, PLC, Pneumatics, and all related control and power equipment. Duties included mounting, cutting, and punching holes for transformers, lights, and horns on exterior of cabinets, troubleshooting, and coordinating with engineers on electrical schematics problems. Also performed various shop duties including Health and Safety Rep, part-time shipping and receiving, and maintenance and upgrading of the shop floor.

  Responsible for reading and interpreting electrical plans for industrial size HVAC systems, planning and placement of main electrical panels, gathering and installation of all devices, motors, sensors, and transformers. Duties included pulling and planning of all electrical, control, sensor, thermostat, and high voltage wires, organizing and scheduling tasks for completion for self and co-workers, custom installation of necessary components, and cleaning and final check for unit shipment.

  Worked on the Goldcorp Mill Expansion Project, wiring of 120, 220 volt plugs, high bay and fluorescent lights, and light switches. Installation of EMT tubing, overhead cable tray, and emergency lights. Positioning and installation of switch gear, transformers, and VFD drive equipment. Also worked on the Red Lake Margret Cochenour Memorial Hospital Project, demolition of existing wiring and EMT tubing, re-installation of plugs, lights, switches, and ventilation, ensuring all circuits and devices met hospital code standards.
