With a strong foundation in public affairs and legal studies from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, I am currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration. My professional journey includes a role as a Civic Engagement Specialist at the Houston Food Bank, where I focus on government relations and civic engagement initiatives. Previously, I gained valuable experience as a Government Affairs Intern at Tyson Foods, contributing to policy research. My leadership skills were honed as a Global Leader with the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute, where I engaged in policy discussions and leadership development. Additionally, I served as a Congressional Intern for Congressman Henry Cuellar, assisting with legislative research. My role as a Lead Resident Assistant at my university further developed my skills in conflict resolution, policy enforcement, and team management.
