About

Writing and literature have always been a part of my life. After getting started in creative writing, I shifted towards journalism in college, focusing on reporting and feature writing. I am creative, passionate, and thrive under pressure. I completed a four-year degree in three years and graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.A. in Journalism with a concentration in film and media studies. I investigated and reported for the award-winning investigative project, Printing Hate, conducted by the Howard Center of Investigative Journalism and Capital News Service. I was the Senior Editor for HerCampus Maryland after starting as a staff writer and copy editor. In recent months, I have been doing freelance concert photography and completed two documentary shorts. I worked as the cinematographer and video editor for the documentary short 'Make Space.' After the production, I organized the premiere of the documentary short at a theater. 'Welcome to the Girl Gang' is the second documentary I worked on and the first I directed, produced, and edited myself. Experienced in copy editing and writing about music, film, entertainment, culture, and current events. Bilingual with translating experience. Experience working with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Google Drive/Docs, Microsoft Word, and Canva. Experienced in social media content creation and SEO writing.
