With a Bachelor of Science in Special Education and Rehabilitation Science from the University of Jos, I have transitioned into a dynamic career as a UI/UX Designer. At SikaSwap, I focus on crafting user-centered experiences that simplify complex crypto interactions. My role involves creating high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes, conducting user research, and developing a cohesive design system. Previously, I honed my skills at Zuri Team, Inc., where I gained hands-on experience in designing digital products, mastering tools like Figma, and understanding design thinking. I led a team in designing a Fintech App and developed strong communication and presentation skills. My work reflects a commitment to innovation, security, and accessibility, ensuring that each design element aligns with brand values.   As the UI/UX Designer at SikaSwap, I design intuitive, user-centered experiences that make complex crypto and finance interactions feel seamless and accessible. I create high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and a scalable design system that unifies the platform's visual language. By conducting user research, I gain insights into users' pain points and preferences, allowing me to design solutions that cater to both beginners and experienced crypto users. My role includes developing custom illustrations and visuals that reflect SikaSwap's values of innovation, security, and accessibility, ensuring each design element resonates with our brand's minimalist aesthetic. Working closely with cross-functional teams, I gather feedback, present ideas, and coordinate with developers to ensure a smooth implementation, all while helping shape SikaSwap's distinctive look and feel.

  Gained hands-on experience in designing user-friendly digital products for clients during the training program. Acquired proficiency in design tools such as Figma and developed a strong foundation in design thinking and user research. Participated in design challenges and sprints, collaborated with other designers and developers, and learned about accessibility and inclusive design. Developed communication and presentation skills, conducted user research and usability testing, and gained knowledge of design principles. Acquired skills in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, familiarized with design systems, and understood the design process from ideation to implementation. Worked collaboratively with team members, learned about design ethics, and developed time management skills. Designed a Fintech App (TradeBox) for a personal Mini Project and served as Design Lead for Team Pelican II.
