As a Fund Manager at CAHEC, I manage, model, report, and provide management accounting for various types of limited partnership’s tax credit investments and related entities. With over ten years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, I ensure data integrity, analyze and update data in projections, perform cash management, set up accounting systems for new entities, and prepare, approve, and deliver reports. I've completed a Masters of Financial Technology and Analytics at Wake Forest University, which complements my previous degrees in finance and accounting. My goal is to leverage my skills and knowledge to optimize the performance and profitability of tax credit investments and support the mission of CAHEC to create affordable housing and community development opportunities.   Responsible for the accounting and financial reporting duties for the debt obligations of the State of approximately $4 billion, including financial statement footnote disclosures for inclusion in the State’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. Developed and maintained accurate general ledger including reconciliations for outstanding and new bonds issued by the State including related investments and fees. Applied Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and State policies/regulations to prepare and record journal entries to the General Ledger. Maintained policies and procedures related to the Debt process. Researched accounting guidance and requirements for all new and existing debt for the appropriate application of Governmental Accounting Standards.
