Furthermore, I have worked on augmenting speech therapy via 3D avatars grounded in NLP and ASR, resulting in the union of conversational user interfaces and human-centered AI. Lastly, I have designed spatial experiences to promote local history in downtown Indianapolis. My experience in software development makes me an effective inter-department communicator. While pursuing a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction, I focused on cognitive neuroscience and behavioral psychology, which furthered my knowledge of AI perception and how to design for it. Additionally, my bachelor's in manufacturing engineering with a focus on human factors enables me to create accessible, intuitive, and visually appealing solutions. Moreover, I pursued my research interests encompassing human-AI interactions, phonetics, and motor-speech disorders.

    I am working with Professor Robert Comer to understand human perception of complex AI models based on system capability and evolving complexity. - Directed over 10 interviews with professionals in AI and HCI to understand the cognitive load of human-AI interactions, based on a protocol focused on task load analysis and user experience questionnaire to quantify the thinking load and user perception respectively. - Coordinated the development of COMET Lab’s AI guidelines helping 110 lab members attain coherence between human expectations and AI capabilities, by identifying emerging themes like trust, transparency, and user autonomy via open-coding and thematic analysis. - Developed voice-enabled interfaces to improve accessibility for users with reduced ability, by implementing text-to-speech functionality and fine-tuning existing models, achieving an accuracy of 97 percent.
