With nearly four years of experience as a UI designer, I have specialized in building comprehensive design systems. I love to develop user-centered designs that focus on delivering a seamless and consistent digital experience. I am passionate about bridging the gap between products and users, ensuring every interaction is intuitive and delightful. I am pursuing a Master of Integrated Product Design (M: IPD) at the University of Pennsylvania, refining my design skills, business thinking, and product manufacturing knowledge.   - Designed UI of Camera Web (web-only software for surveillance cameras) based on Quasar Framework using VIVOTEK design system - Built and organized VIVOTEK design system v2.0 using Figma; iterated the structure of components library

• User Interface Designer · VIVOTEK2020-12-01 – 2023-04-01

  - Established and maintained VIVOTEK design system v1.0 using Sketch; designed 200+ components, 100+ icons, and 10+ illustrations - Conducted UI design of the mobile versions (iOS and Android) of VORTEX (the first cloud-based and AI video surveillance-as-a-service product in Taiwan); communicated with UX designers and engineers - Collaborated with a UI designer on developing VORTEX web version; the company launched VORTEX in North America in Sept. 2022

  - Project: A Study of Motion Indicator Designs Used in Fire Evacuation, funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology (statutory agency for promoting academic research) - Supervisor: Chia-Hua Lin - Participated in hosting semi-structured interviews with fire evacuation expert - Led focus group interviews and asked designers to produce pictograms - Managed and executed experiments to test usability of motion pictograms - Planned questionnaires using Likert scale (-2 to 2) to examine recognition rate of pictograms, achieved average of 1.25
