I'm a Master's student in Information Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, specializing in User Experience Design and Research. With a background in software and data, I bridge research, design, and front-end development to craft intuitive, impactful digital experiences. My interests lie in designing collaborative web-based systems, conducting usability studies, and building prototypes that are both user-centered and technically sound. I’ve led projects across e-commerce, scientific data visualization, and sustainability, applying Figma, Angular, HTML/CSS, and Agile workflows. I’m passionate about solving real-world problems through data-informed design with my goal to create accessible, scalable, and meaningful solutions that improve people’s lives.

• UX and Research Data Initiatives Assistant · University of Wisconsin-Madison2024-01-01 –

  Led redesign of MINDS repository, enhancing product strategy for research work deposition and browsing. Collaborated with researchers, librarians, and admins for user interviews, gathering 170+ data points. Created personas, wireframes, and prototypes for advanced browsing and UI upgrades. Authored quarterly blog on service design for UW Madison's Center of User Experience.

• UI/UX Design Intern · University of Wisconsin-Madison2024-06-01 – 2024-09-01

  Designed the WMO’s Global Cryosphere Watch responsive website with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and PHP to analyze and assess the cryosphere. Interviewed 4 scientists to gather insights on delivering authoritative and usable data. Researched users and developed wireframes, hi-fi prototypes, and design system with Figma components for a real-time web app’s integration with satellite images.

  Built an intuitive React web interface to allow users to compare and rank Shopbop products. Conducted user research and 15 usability studies to refine the user journey. Developed wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes with Figma. Facilitated daily Agile stand-up meetings discussing progress and identifying blockers.

  Worked on Hawaiian Airlines and Deloitte projects. Developed UI solutions using Figma, built RESTful APIs, and constructed materialized views. Configured data pipelines with Spark and Beam for Deloitte. Led research exploration on GCP to reduce processing time by 60%. Involved in knowledge sharing and training, received 2 Spot Awards.
