About

I have finished my Master's in Digital Media at Drexel University, Philadelphia, and my undergraduate from the University of York. I want to adopt User-Centered Design to bring efficiency to people's lives, making apps and websites more fulfilling for them. I am proficient in design tools such as Figma, InVision studio, and the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). I also have experience in game development with Unity and I am adept at programming languages such as Python, Java, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Whenever I create or work on projects I like to do something meaningful and unique. For me, it is about creating a difference and having a positive impact on people through what I create. All my projects were meaningful with a relevant purpose. One of the reasons why I want to get into the field of UX is because of how it applies to gaming hence enhancing the experience. • UX Design Specialist · MorelandConnect - Custom Software Development12-01-2023

  Managed and did a rebuild of company website including UI mockups in Figma. Used Tailwind to build a user feedback page for underwriting inspections. Conducted QA testing for a higher education portal, provided reports informing of bugs and suggesting design and functionality changes to enhance the user experience. Developed payment pages for a medical testing portal, used HTML and CSS to design the gateway to the payment portals. Used Figma to prototype alternate screen designs for higher education portal. Conducted social media campaigns using Hubspot, created lists, sent emails and imported forms to WordPress.

  Worked with students to achieve a smooth submission process for deliverables for their senior project. Used ShotGrid by Autodesk to manage submissions and keep a check on the production pipeline. Made sure students were on time with submissions and documented their progress.

  Designed 30 infographs for multiple clients. Liaised between clients and designers about requirements for infographs to achieve highest level of satisfaction. Led social media efforts for the company which included vetting everything being posted, saw 400% increase in followers in a 4-month time frame.

• Intern · NDTV07-01-2018 – 08-01-2018

  Transcribed scripts for a show that would be used for short online news videos. Researched news on current political events for use in Left, Right and Center, NDTV's nationally televised show. Presented research in an organized E-mail to the head of the research team. Assisted in setting up camera equipment and ensured proper lighting for a high-quality broadcast, under the provision of the director.

  Helped with research such as pieces for women startups, the Indian space program. Worked on scripts for online news videos, helped them be concise and to the point. Edited two films about water droughts in India, later aired during a prime-time show. Assisted in the management of equipment like cameras and lights during production.
