With a robust academic background in Cognitive Psychology and Neuroscience, I hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and a PhD from North Dakota State University. My professional journey began as a Graduate Researcher at North Dakota State University, where I explored the impact of tool interaction on perception and action. I then advanced to a Scientist role at Exponent, managing UX research projects across various industries. Currently, I serve as a Lead Researcher at Brighter Research, where I spearhead pilot testing for a nationwide educational assessment in collaboration with Educational Testing Services. Concurrently, I contribute to Gotham Polling & Analytics LLC, ensuring demographic representation in study samples. My expertise lies in research design, data analysis, and the development of actionable insights, driving innovation in educational and technological domains.

  Conducted pilot testing for a nationwide assessment of the U.S. education system, under contract with Educational Testing Services (ETS). Coordinated testing logistics and ran testing sessions in schools around the country. Performed data analysis to determine reliability and validity of a novel educational software following completion of pilot testing. Aided with creation of a report for delivery of findings regarding the viability of the software around the United States.

  Assisted with recruitment of study respondents for a polling company. Ensured study sample properly represented the relevant population demographics and created a list of respondents to be surveyed.
