Served as a customer support agent; answered over 30 Zendesk support tickets per day (28% of which were resolved within an hour of submission). Managed 30-40 college counselors (contract service providers) at a time; hosted weekly office hours and monthly community meetings to establish positive relationships and communication among contractors and make sure all contractors are up-to-date with programmatic changes and college admissions news. Established metric tracking for customer support tickets so full history of all issues encountered is available and easy-to-find for all team members.

  A full-time role running Empowerly’s Startup Internship Program; nurtured the program into the key differentiator between Empowerly and its competitors. Increased program participation 6x within the span of a year and 11x within the span of 2 years (Have supported 500+ total participants). Maintained and improved on program data tracking; created new processes and automations based on both client and partner feedback to make the program run smoother and with less manpower; established training materials. Recruited and set up partnerships with 49 venture-backed startups and nonprofit organizations across 12 different industries; maintained and continued these relationships for future program cycles.

  A contract role communicating directly with Empowerly’s customers as a part of Empowerly’s counseling marketplace. Researcher: Researched and created databases of information surrounding college admissions; answered hundreds of customer questions regarding admissions. College counselor: counseled 11th grade students on college admissions and career preparation; helped students gain admission to their dream schools.

  Worked on several research projects with Autistic children to study development and possible biomarkers. Certified by CITI in biomedical research and HIPAA, used Netstation to code EEG data, edited videos with Final Cut Pro, completed data entry, filmed psychological tests, data analysis with SPSS. Sat with Autistic children during EEG and Eye Tracking sessions to help them keep calm and still.

  Accept and edit research papers written by undergraduate students in the field of psychology and neuroscience to be published in a yearly research journal.

• Research Assistant · Elegant Mind Club at UCLA2015-06-01 – 2015-08-01

  Ran thermotaxis experiments on C.elegans while using a high-powered tracking microscope to study neuron activity. Made agarose gels, used neurotoxins to freeze the worms in agar for brain imaging, edited videos with Final Cut Pro, ran data analysis using MatLab.
